Japanese High School
UIA Kyoto Academy upholds the rigorous standards of Japanese education and strives to be one of the top educational institutions in Japan. Since its establishment, UIA has innovated beyond traditional models in Japan’s educational landscape.
UIA was among the first to offer the EJU (Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students) curriculum and introduce Japanese-language original textbooks.
It is also the first institution to establish a branch in Japan, implementing a shared teaching staff system between domestic and local Japanese educators, thereby securing robust teaching resources. The curriculum is fully bilingual in Chinese and Japanese across all subjects, with options in humanities, sciences, and arts. The “adaptive system” allows students to progress based on their individual levels, ensuring mastery of Japanese language proficiency—from N3 level within one year to N1 level within two years. Students have continuous access to resources for EJU exams and school assessments, enabling them to achieve outstanding results and pursue admission to top Japanese universities.
