The International Year One program is equivalent to the first-year course credits of overseas universities and serves as a fast track to prestigious British universities with lower admission scores.

As the first domestic teaching center authorized and certified by multiple British universities, UIA holds dual absolute advantages: autonomy in admitting students into the second year of university and academic autonomy in teaching Year One courses.

This seamless transition to second-year university admission enables students to complete an undergraduate degree in the UK in two years, earning an honors bachelor’s degree. Compared to direct applications, the International Year One program is relatively easier, but the credits earned are counted towards the undergraduate degree. After passing, students can directly enter the second year in the UK, and the final degree is identical to that of direct entry.
